Each Fall, Medicare patients have about six weeks to sign up, renew, or change Medicare Advantage or Medigap insurance. Starting November 1 and ending December 15, 2017, Medicare patients must make a decision about insurance for 2018. Each county has a different set of insurance companies offering plans. Some counties have very limited choices and the choices may be different than those offered in 2017.
